- Place potatoes in bottom of greased slow cooker. Season with salt and add 1 tablespoon butter.
- Layer chicken chunks and broccoli florets on top.
- In a bowl, whisk together tamari, honey, rice vinegar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, ginger, garlic, water, and pepper.
- Pour sauce over chicken and broccoli. Cover and cook on LOW 5–6 hours, until chicken is tender and potatoes soft.
- Remove 1/4 cup sauce, whisk with arrowroot. Stir mixture back into slow cooker and cook 10 more minutes to thicken.
- Mash potatoes with remaining butter. Serve teriyaki chicken and broccoli over potato mash. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
Notes
