  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar (for swirl)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (for swirl)

Instructions for Pumpkin Bread with Cinnamon Swirl

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients; stir until just mixed.
  5. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half over the batter.
  6. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool before slicing and serving.
