Garlic Butter Green Beans with Almonds

A fresh and flavorful Thanksgiving side made with tender green beans sautéed in garlic butter and topped with toasted almonds. It’s elegant, simple, and the perfect complement to any holiday main dish.

Ingredients
  

  • - 1 lb fresh green beans trimmed
  • - 2 tbsp butter
  • - 2 garlic cloves minced
  • - 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • - Salt and pepper to taste
  • - Optional: squeeze of lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Blanch green beans in boiling salted water for 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add green beans and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Toast almonds in the same pan for 2–3 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and a touch of lemon juice before serving warm.
